Basically, this game was originally released as an isometric real-time tactical game that was created by Bullfrog Productions back in 1993. It is actually the first title in the Syndicate series and followed by an expansion pack entitled Syndicate: American Revolt and a sequel Syndicate Wars. The original game and the expansion pack was actually released together back in 1996 and apparently, there are some rumors that the game Syndicate will be having a reboot and this time EA Partners and Swedish developer Starbreeze will take charge.
Basically, the story of the new Syndicate game will revolve on an ongoing diplomatic crisis between the Gulf and Eurocorp. It will feature a resistance group, scientists, a mom and a pop as well as a hacker known as Logos who apparently attacked the Manhattan complex. According to some sources, this project is actually the same project that was under the codename Project Redlime. And though nothing has been confirmed yet, a lot are expecting that it will be announced in the upcoming E3 event.

42781 Det virker som et meget løst rygte, og det lader ikke til at forfatteren til artiklen har sat sig særligt godt ind i casen. Jeg tvivler på vi hører noget nyt om Redlime/Syndicate på E3 i år - de seneste år har været skuffelse på skuffelse - men jeg krydser fingrer for at der i år endelig vil ske noget :)
